Ah but they do. The pressure on the LSU players and coaching staff is huge. Just like all the LSU fans on here hoping, praying and talking about Alabama, the players hear it, think it and dream it. It rubs off on the players, gets in their head, and shows up on the field. You obviously never played any sports.

I live in Louisiana and believe me when I tell you these frickin' people live and breathe Alabama football.

And know this now, they're all frickin' nervous as shite man. Every one of them and don't let them tell you any different.

The thought of losing this game is positively unbearable for them. They believe they're so close and they know if it doesn't happen this season, then whiteboots will never beat Alabama, no matter who's coaching.

You're misreading the people of Louisiana. My comments before were in regards to the LSU players and coaching staff not the citizens and fans.

Unlike Alabamians, Louisianians and LSU fans have other things to look forward to throughout the year. We have an historic blueblood program in LSU baseball, the third best basketball program in the SEC history, a professional football franchise in the New Orleans Saints, a professional basketball franchise in the New Orleans Pelicans and that's just sports. Then of course we have food, fun and festivals.

We get excited and disappointed about LSU football because we're an excitable and passionate people.

It's so boring in Alabama outside of college football season that their obsession drives them to sexually assault random people on the street, destroy historic public property, get violent in the stands, get violent at home, murder strangers and even murder their own family members.

Of all the people on this site, the only ones qualified to talk about polls and national titles is Alabama fans, being that Alabama is tops in both.

Not a fan. But I will take it. Congrats Coach O and the Fighting Tigers.

Congrats on what? Did L8U getting ranked #1 this week by the AP means the season is over and L8U has been crowned the NC's?

It’s interesting that the #1 team in the nation coming out of week 10.. which more than likely LSU will be come next Tuesday... has never won the playoff... the final number 1 headed into the playoff has never either...

A&M will be the only team in NCAA history to play three teams that were ranked #1 at some time during the same season....in addiction to two others ranked in the top ten. Toughest schedule in NCAA history.

Add all of the titles those sports have won, and you have less than Alabama has won in football.

Alabama, well North Alabama, is focused on the defense of the country, so much so that the new Space Command is planning to come to Huntsville. We are focused on getting back to the moon, to Mars, and beyond and are the ones that will get man there (we got man to the moon and back already.)

Medicine in Birmingham is tops in the country too.

( I looked for any in La, but they must be WAY down on the list)

By the way, Alabama owns LSU in just about every sport you mentioned (and a few more) including baseball-

Louisiana had to steal Mardi Gras from Mobile who had it first. Most of your state vacations in Alabama or North Florida, so how much fun can Louisiana be when people leave it to have fun.

Laughing at you.

Alabama lives on getting voted in to "titles."

I think you just strengthened the other dudes argument. And everything else you said, was a complete reach. But whatever. Enjoy your natty this year, there is nothing LSU can do about Bama winning.

Give him a break, he's 12 as you can tell by the insults.

Lol... you're right. I didn't observe this right away, but when you don't recognize a "Dame" juvenile disposition is a likely root cause. Adolescence is a transitional stage of physical and psychological development. Nothing to be ashamed of.
