BCS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME Southern California (Pac-12 champions) vs. Arkansas (SEC champions) During USC's great run of the last decade, the Trojans never got a chance to play a team from the Southeastern Conference in a bowl game. That was unfortunate, and left many SEC fans wondering if the Trojans were getting off easy. Time to rectify that - just not with one of the SEC teams most figured would get there. John L. Smith leads the Razorbacks past West rivals LSU and Alabama to their first SEC championship.

Is that the guy that put LSU #10 in his AP poll?

I project you will leave this board after we finish 9-3 this season and 6-6 the next year.

You are going to lose to either Alabama or LSU, so that would require both of them to go 10-2 for you to win the west. I just do not see that happening.

Ralph actually works for AP and I believe compiles the votes for the poll each week and thus doesn't vote himself.

but if SC were to beat Arky we would then hear the excuses that Arky is not really an SEC team

Funny, you mention that, he actually Tweeted this yesterday:
"The good thing about my USC over Arkansas title pick for S.E.C fans is they can easily disown Hogs as not 'real' S.E.C. (Latecomers)."

Hard to pick Arky when you just have a figurehead as a HC right now.
But it'd be an awful lot of fun to see you beat USCw with an interim.

If USC wins easily, won't count with SEC fan because McFadden is in the Pros.

Laughable for two reasons: (1) USCw has too many injuries and not enough depth; (2) AR will never, in any given year, be able to beat LSU, UA and AU. ForgetAboutIt.

Sounds about right but I think Bama may be able to pull off the upset in Fayetteville. It will take a hell of a game by the Tide to do it.

Anyone who made this prediction is the obvious amateur.

Seems like an SEC hater hoping the worst of the best of the SEC makes the title game so USC can win. Certainly sounds like an objective pollster.

One voter put Bama at #9 as well. Some of these guys need to put down the pipe and face reality. If Bama lost Nick Saban to circumstances like what happened to Petrino do you think anyone would pencil them in as BCS championship material? How about Les Miles losing his job and voting LSU as a BCS contender?

We lost TM and the AP resent the polls back to people that had already sent them in to vote again. You think they do that if USC loses a corner. Albeit, I think TM is a huge loss for us. But shite.
