Nah, I'm not good at football. Win foosball games at Bama and you can be free of any type of discrimination in tuscaloosa, including discrimination against robbing fellow students, beating fellow students into a coma, and running over fellow students with your car.
But if you're not good at football and not lily-white, allegedly straight, and god fearing then you sure af better not do anything crazy like try to run for sga or try to go greek

The #1 MAGA loving campus in the state certainly ain't in West Alabama.

Yeah I would bet any amount of money Auburn is more conservative. Also whiter and more rural.
Auburn literally had fratguys running around dressed like the Klan in the early 2000s. They thought it was funny.

Scrolling through tinder and seeing the amount of Bama sorostitutes who say they're from those areas but also have "MAGA" or "swipe in the direction of your political affiliation" in their bio would disagree with you. You don't willingly leave those areas of the country to go to school in a place like Alabama unless you're conservative af (unless Bama is just the only similar sized school you can get into, which is also very plausible. Seems to be a combo of both those reasons in a lot of cases)

And Bama literally had Greek life people actively and unrepently keeping people of color out of frats and sororities and only just breaking the color barrier at a couple of years ago at a couple of years ago (and only accepting their tokens bc of public pressure)
No southern school is going to 100% free of those elements, but at least most schools are capable of making progress on those fronts without outside and media pressure to do so.
