Any updates on Max Johnson?

The elite, physical defense of Ole Miss really got the best of him yesterday. He took many hits to the point where he refused to hold onto the ball and literally just handed it to Ole Miss defensive players multiple times. Here’s to a speedy recovery.

The backup QB (the best QB on a team is always the backup) looked pretty good. He throws a nice ball. The moment didn't look to big for him.

I mean you can't really expect a depleted team missing 10 starters to play well with a lame duck coach going into such a hostile environment vs that Ole Miss powerhouse on a day that they're retiring the great Eli's jersey. I mean, he's a no doubt first ballot hall of famer. For frick's sake they had the guy's name in the endzone. It most surely psyched our guys out and they may have thought they were playing against all the Mannings. All that's not even to mention the boy wonder genius head coach throwing visors and clipboards, dropping microphones and eating popcorn on the field. You just can't expect LSU to even keep it close in a game like that much less win.

Like who the LSU QB is will matter? O was fired and the players quit. There will be a ton of "Nagging injuries" causing some players to skip the Bama game.

To be fair, I’m his touchdown drive we were playing our second team defense….. he got away with a couple balls that should have been picked off

Hope he is well in time to play against Aggies. LSU told us that if he had played QB last year they would have beat us.

He’s being asked to do way too much. Can’t expect a soph in the SEC to carry a team with freshmen wideouts, a shaky o-line and an inconsistent running game. Not to mention the play calling has been substandard.
