Once our LBs settled in our D was back to being pretty damn solid again. 3rd best scoring D in the conference.

Diaz strikes me as being a flavor of the week hire that a school will regret down the road. If you're going to hire a coordinator then you had better make it one that has had sustained success over a long number of years imo.

Exactly. I feel the same way about Smart as well. I would be nervous about him because everyone in the world knows Saban pulls the strings on the defense. Its a gamble to know how well he will do on his own and with much less talent to boot.

I think Boone needs to go before we get rid of our coach. But, I haven't heard anything regarding his arse.
