What is the plural form of "you guys" any way?

You guys's?

That sound's idiotic. Y'all's FTW.

Good point. Y'all does sound better. My grandma was born in SoMo and she always said y'uns. I believe that's more prevalent in Western PA. Not sure where she picked it up. My other grandma was born and raised in Alabama and I don't believe she ever said y'all. Maybe she quit saying it to fit in in STL?

Sounds like your grandma was the poser then, HAH. Arky fans love getting their piss hot and then coming on here and fricking with the "yanks" from Missouri

What is that shorthand for?

I mean y'all is pretty obvious (you all).

This southeast Missouri girl has said "y'all" all her life! No reason to change things now.

No one from MO says it. Not even in Southern MO. Don't try and act like we're suddenly southern because we joined the SEC

I live in Columbia now and have two young kids. My youngest told me last week to stop saying "Y'all". It hurts us to hear them say "You Guys." I can't stand it and it drives me nuts.

I lived in LA for 35 years...mostly in Lafayette and my wife is from West Monroe. for us, hearing "you guys" is like hearing something in Chinese....

Can wait to see the SEC fans' opinions of COMO after this season.

I was born in Sikeston, grew up in Cape Girardeau.

I heard y'uns, or however you spell it, occasionally from my family in Arkansas. I think it's a shortened version of the grammatically incorrect "you ones."
