Arky has wanted this game to launch it's program to where it wants to be (and thinks it should be).
to now hear the 'whoa is us' mantra is getting tiresome...and we haven't even gotten to k/o.
i think the Hogs are gonna be a tough out in conference play. they might not win tomorrow, but the level of confidence in the program because of last week's game is overblown.
guess i just don't get all the downplaying by fans of WPS, when this team has been nothing but hyped all spring/summer.

I had us at 11-1 with a split between LSU/Bama.
I think there is still an outside shot at 11-1 but losing Knile was huge, and now down a GREAT DE for one of the biggest games of the year is another big blow.
I still think we're good enough to win, but it's going to be very difficult.
I don't think it's backpeddling. Even when we had everyone healthy Bama was going to be the favorite. We're the underdog here. It was never any different.

no doubt. Wingo is running better though. more decisive...less hesitation. if DJ can get some quality carries, that will be huge going forward.

gotcha. but how much have we heard BP and Willie talk about the depth of the D-line after the Spring and going into the season? if they said it once, they said it 100x about how they finally felt like they had an SEC DL? Jake being a no-go is big, but if the line is what we've been told it is, now is the time to back it up.
