The equation equals a 24 point loss for you. Sad

I'm not sure I understand that math, and I'm GOOD at math. OTHERs contributed to those 27 pts, but it WASN'T Judas Wells.
On the other hand, how much NIL $$ did yall lose paying him?

That's a good way of putting it.
The stunt he pulled really spoke volumes about his lack of character. Nary a teammate of his from last season has a good thing to say about him. They were all glad to see him go.
On the other hand the kid from Newberry from last year (I can't remember his name) that entered the portal and went to Memphis ... I hear he had a pretty good year. And his teammates from last year wished him well (although his Dad was apparently a pain in the arse to the coaches).
ETA: I looked him up. Mario Anderson, Jr is the kid who was picked up by Memphis. He's rushed for almost 1,300 yards, 5.9 yds per carry, has 17 TDs and zero fumbles this season. That's a damn fine year. But he knew he was going to be a back up to Rocket Sanders. I'm glad the kid has done well at Memphis.

Mario Anderson right? Tough little runner but we’ve been ok, happy to hear he’s done okay for himself
I’ve never had a problem with a transfer out before. Does it sting sometimes? Yes, Jaheim Bell for example. But the shite Wells pulled made me root for all bad things to happen to him, short of injury
Hope he’s stewing on draft night.

Right. Out of Summerville, then played at Newberry for two years, us for one and he's had an outstanding year at Memphis State. He'll be first team All-Conference and he'll get a good free agent deal I would imagine.
Heard his Dad was a real pain in the arse over NIL money but Mario was well-liked by his teammates, a hard worker. Unlike Juice who was roundly despised by just about everyone by the end of last season. They had some wicked alternative nicknames for Juice.

He's trash and has no ability to fight for a 50/50 ball even with his size.
that being said.....You USC fans are embarrassing yourselves over this. This is the current state of football. Players are mercenaries(just like coaches have been for decades). If you wanted him more, then pay him more. If you didn't want him....congrats.
The "Judas" bullshite is tired and antiquated. Stop acting like you're the only school to have a player shop himself around.

You're not going to be happy watching this sport.

Yet ... I feel no embarrassment whatsoever.
We've had more than a few players bolt for more money ... the above mentioned kid at Memphis. Jordan Birch at Oregon. The RB that went to SoCal. You've never once seen any of us say a single negative word about any of them. They all played to the end, left on good terms, we thanked them and wished them well. We're a fairly friendly bunch .... and we've actually been to the SECCG, so we're in with the cool crowd.
But Juice Wells is a turd. It's just that simple. It is what it is. His karma kickback is his ... and yours apparently? You seem to be taking everything personally lately?
Everything okay at home?

This is why college athletics used to be different from the pros. You used to have one school, but it is rare to only play professionally for one team. Now there is way too much transferring. I don't even give a shite about the players anymore. There is a good chance any player on your team will play for someone else in the future.

For sure. But like I said.....they're just catching up to what coaches have been doing for a long time.

And there's that FG kicker that transfered to Notre Dame ... having a great year. We damn sure could have used him this year. With him we'd be in the playoffs right now, but hey, the Irish ponied-up and paid him big bucks. God Bless'em both. You cannot find one single Gamecock fan ripping on any of these transfers (Lloyd was the name of the RB that went to SoCal, I just remembered) ... ripping on any of these transfers .... except one.
Nah, I'm not projecting. I'm just saying. Wells, what he did .... he's a slimeball, plain and simple. And it's really not even about the money ... it's about the insidiousness. The disloyalty and the backstabbing he was doing all while being paid. While being provided the finest medical care. While eating the free meals he was given and living in the high end apartment he was provided ... yet he said and did some destructive things.
So yeah, frick'im. He's a low character individual. We'll talk badly about him all we want to pank. frick'im.

Wells was toxic at Carolina - is toxic at Ole Miss -
Rebs don't lose to Kentucky if he's even remotely trying in that game - same for the Florida game -
Gamecock fans are just sitting back laughing at the shite show he is - somewhere else

Literally one player that’s ever transferred we have issues with
“This might not be for you”
Tell us how to feel panky boy

If dropped passes and not being physical enough is what you're referring to as Wells being "toxic", then your fan base is charmin-level of soft.

He literally gives up on plays. Your own fans say it
Probably why yall lost the Florida game and Kiffin has to beg to be noticed

You're just as soft as the Ole Miss fans still asshurt over Judkins leaving for more money.
I'm not referring to players transferring in/out because of roster spots, play schemes, coaching styles, etc. I'm talking about NIL transfers.
