Kirby is a good coach but he will forever call Saban daddy.

Who's the last coach Saban choked against in a national championship game?

Kirby is a great coach and UGA is now in the drivers seat.

Beating Nick was a tall order, and he came up short. Often.

Kirby is one of the main reasons GrandPaw finally saw the futility of going on. Gramps was 73 and realized he couldn’t keep up with the young coaches - especially Kirby - when it came to recruiting, NIL and the transfer portal. He decided to quit before he became Bobby Bowden. Too bad he didn’t quit a few weeks earlier. He lost the recruiting battle to Kirby. UGA was #1. And that playoff game revealed the many weaknesses of Bama and ruined their brand. Bama hasn’t been Bama since 2021. Not many people look at Bama the same way after that playoff game. The entire nation got a really good look at the decline we in the SEC have been seeing for a couple of years.
And now Gramps is gone as well as most of the asst coaches and half of the team. It’s not looking good, Bama.

And yet Kirby will eventually surpass all of Sabans accomplishments. He’s not even 50 yet.

Maybe so; he is a tremendous coach. I was just helping the guy post an image, as he seemed to be struggling.

I like Smart. He'll be a HoF CFB coach.

And Kirby will also be the last SEC team to win the National Championship during Sabans elite coach career. Must be nice knowing you left a loser but your prodigal son is at the top of the game

He left dominating the SEC, going 9-0.

They should be happy that Kirby was kind enough to hang around Tuscaloosa and bring a lot of wins to Bama. Couldn’t have been much fun living there but he toughed it out. Bama wouldnt have had nearly as many titles or wins without him.

Kirby has won exactly one SEC Championship since 2018.

And Bama hasn’t won a legit Natty since the 2017 season. And even that came with help from the refs

That’s ok, because Kirby calls Ryan Day ‘son.’

So did 90% of college football, so what’s that prove?

Kirby was 1-1 versus Saban when Non-SEC officiating was involved.

When Bama played USF, Texas and Michigan there was one common denominator: All three involved Non-SEC officiating.

“Daddy”

ETA “Daddy” is 1-5 vs Saban? Shocking.
