Without Demetrius Byrd's TD catch against AU, LSU would not have won thier BCS title.

Byrd was in the 2007 class. I assume Les Miles recruited that class.

If you want to go through all that work, feel free.

I think you and I both know that the recruiting process for many recruits begins in their junior year if not earlier. Regardless of who officially signed the 2005 class, It's safe to say that Nick had a far bigger impact on the class than Les and that the majority of the class committed under him. Whether you choose to admit this or not, I really don't care.

But the starting QB and other players I listed are from the 2003 and 2004 classes. If you think LSU would have won without their starting QB and those key contributors (not to mention the players I didn't take the time to look up), then

Because he was with those players longer and put more time in with them?

Well Bama did list Byrd on that poster of Saban recruits that were drafted.

That must have been painful for you. It was painful for me too. I had tickets, but did not go.

Hopefully 05 Miami. Miles and LSU did pretty well against them in Atlanta.

I saw what you posted. I just don't think it refutes the statement that the 2007 Championship team had a lot of Saban recruits on it; ergo, Miles has yet to win a National Championship without Saban recruits. Now the impact of those recruits is debatable. I am of the opinion that they had a large impact. Either way it doesn't matter, you guys have done well over the past few years. I have received a direct message to stop flaming so this the last I'm going to post on the topic of Saban vs Miles recruits.

Yeah I agree with the others. No way the Arkansas quote is Miles. Sounds nothing like him. The Auburn quote sounds more like something Les would say. If the Arky quote was Les it would have been more like:

"There's a belief that that team will finish 2nd in a majority of those games. Certainly a previous coach didn't leave many quality young players to help them play for victory."

If LSU has 0 BCS titles without Saban, then I dont see how unless you are just informing us all that there were, in fact, players recruited previous to LM being hired that were on the team in 2007.

Then you are correct, LM has not won a BCS title without recruits previous to his hire being on the roster.

Safe to say Saban hasnt won a title without Gerry Dinardo or Mike Shulas recruits prior to this last one.

You've clearly stated you're not trolling, so I think you should be alright to continue posting about it.

Oh, horseshite! This same exact time last year y'all were telling us how "Lefty" was going to use the mojo he used on Tom Brady and turn Keihl Frazer into an SEC caliber QB. Then y'all boasted about how the "Stache" was working the defensive players till they puked and was "brining back the AU defense of the olden days"............

Excuse us for not listening to a damn thing y'all say anymore.

Umm, all of you guys talked crap about Cam throughout the preseason. 7-5/6-6, we stink, he isn't going to be all that good, and all that crap. Then a NC and Heisman happened. So excuse us for not listening to any of your Auburn predictions.

And he also has yet to win a national championship without his OWN recruits. I showed you more than half of the team was composed of Les' players and even those Saban DID recruit would probably tell you Les had more of a hand in that season did Nick did.

You probably got a DM because you're coming off dumb as frick.
