Still waiting on you to make a legitimate point. Please, one thing, anything to counter what this coach (who probably has a superior knowledge of football than you) said.

What does UA have to do with the state of LSU football? Can we please stay on topic?

Alabama

“They’ll be really good again, don’t worry. They lost a lot of guys on the defensive line. Last year wasn’t their best defensive line, and they might not have been quick enough to handle fast quarterbacks who could turn broken plays into big gains like Johnny Manziel. On offensive, they can be better than last year. Obviously a lot depends on how well the defensive develops. Linebackers and secondary, they’ll be fine. CJ Mosley is probably the best linebacker in the country…They really didn’t’ have an answer for Manziel last season. They could stand to get quicker up front.”

Stoops?? I have no clue.

That's been attempted, and pretty much successfully, save a poster or two.

I see what you're getting at, but I've never said anything to suggest that Shula did not contribute to the 2009 title. Some Tiger fans on the other hand, get all defensive when I say Saban helped with the 2007 title. There's nothing wrong with acknowledging this fact. Now what's interesting is 5+ years after Saban, when there are no longer any Saban recruits Miles can use, he has been unable to win a championship on his own merits, sans any Saban assistance.

Really, which one? I hope you're not referring to 2007, because the quarterback that led you to that championship was a Saban recruit, your 2 time All-American and 5th overall pick in the NFL draft after the championship defensive tackle was a Saban recruit, your WR that was drafted in the third round was a Saban recruit.

and not one of them saw the field under Saban.

BCS meaning 1998 and onwards.

Just because they were freshmen and sophomores under Saban doesn't invalidate this point. He recruited them and he had a hand in their early development.

Please refrain from personal attacks.

How is recruiting multiple starters that were on the 2007 championship team not helping?

there’s a slow, steady decline of that program.\

You sound so hopeful. Sorry your fantasies will not be fulfilled.
We are reloading on defense, expanding on offense, STILL a top ten recruiting machine every fricking year, with a possible #1 2014 class, but we are 'declining' ???? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Your head is a vacuum between your Billy Joe Bob hairy ears....
