Amazing NFL stat for Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson......
You can start another thread about Eddie if you'd like. I'm trying to find out if MI and Tr are the two biggest draft busts, from the same college team,in NFL history.

Can't get anything but deflection from the gumptard crowd though.

the two biggest draft busts from the same team ...

hmm ...

jemarcus russell was #1 ... glenn dorsey was #5 and was a bust at kc ... he was signed as a backup by san fran , though an injury to the starter gave him his chance to start most games this year ... jury is still out ...

tysen jackson was #3 and has been a bust, period ...

great thread idea ...

Wait. Payton listens to a retired coach, whose last gig was a disaster. to tell him the obvious? To run the guy with fresh legs? So he really isn't that great of a coach? Intredasting. Good to know.

LSU/Saints fans are awesome. So ready to shite on Ingram they will throw their own coach under the bus with statements like that. It is hilarious.

More trout on the line I see.

The original thread was an honest question about the two 1st. rd. Rbs from the same college team. Apparently they just happen to be the most unproductive duo in NFL history.

I would more than welcome a thread about draft busts from all positions. Starting with the big lazy fella from MOBILE,AL.!!

MY next thread will ask if Lil Nicky has produced more draft busts from Bama than the entire history of LSU football. I'm starting to feel like im picking on the kids who ride the short bus to school.

The fact that LSU fans have to reach to the NFL to take jabs at Alabama tells me all I need to know about their level of insecurity regarding the two teams on the same field.

That's like getting owned in an argument but correcting the other persons grammar.

The fact that a Bama fan thinks we have to "reach" into the NFL to make this point is hilarious.

I grew up ten miles from the Superdome BUBBA.
I guess when you grow up with amateur sports as the end all and be all this is what happens. I find that mindset fascinating.

The problems have already been documented regarding bama busts in general. NFL scouts, GMs, and so forth have already noted it and expressed concern. Their reasoning was Saban's system is a grind on the players and they have to compete against other 4-5 star guys for years in demanding practices and it takes its toll so their is less tread on the tires for bama players if they get to the next level. I just started hearing this as a topic of discussion in the past year and I think bama players in certain positions will start getting this taken into account in the draft to an extent going forward.

Specifically to Ingram and Richardson, they ran behind the best O-line in the country for some of their time at bama. Their college numbers were somewhat inflated in the first place.

Personally, I don't think Ingram was that great. Certainly not in the top 5 and probably barely in the top 10 of SEC running backs in the past 5 years. Richardson was better IMO, but he has been a pounder that takes a lot of contact and has run through people instead of around his entire life and it has taken a toll.

This is all wrong though. Not only are Saban's practices not that physical, but I can speak from a conversation with one professional scout that this is not at all how they think.

You nailed it my friend. Bama fans don't want
this to be put on "blast". The NFL is catching on
and will start to factor this into their draft selections.

The recruits will notice and not want to go to Bama to be beat down and processed. It's no coincidence Leonard Fournette and Roc Thomas aren't headed to Bama. These young men are starting to see how cruel and callous Lil Nicky is with his "process".

That is fine, but opinions apparently differ as I have heard NFL guys on the radio and those who speak to them say it is something they have recently taken note of and consider now.

Some probably put some stock in that theory some probably do not, but all of them consider it and are aware of the track record now.

Yeah, it can't be because LF is from Louisianna and we didn't push hard for RT until recently.

The question in place is if they are draft busts; the higher one is drafted, the greater the bust is if they fail. Success in college outside of their draft pick is irrelevant.

Your troll attempt is fail.
