I'm LSU all the way through but I'm weirdly a tad sad about it also. In the rare years we beat Bama under him, those wins were so sweet. Now beating them won't be nearly as sweet anymore and if we're being honest, college football without Saban will never be the same. He was the iron that sharpened the rest of college football. Plus, he resurrected LSU football after decades of being a back burner program. Thankful for what he did for LSU and what he meant to college football in general.
I'm also thankful we won't have to play his teams anymore. I think it's possible to be ecstatic over his retirement but also sad at the same time.
