I had a 77 K5 blazer with a 350. It got like 8mpg but I only used it to play in. I also had a 92 single cab z71 with a rebuilt 350, 35 inch buckshots and a 3 speed aftermarket transmission that I used for mud riding. I had a 72 chevy c10 2wd that I restored real nice. Ended up selling all of them before college.

I had too many toys as a teenager. 2 4-wheelers, honda dirt bike and a ski boat on top of all the trucks along with my daily driver (2000 GMC z71 ext cab. 6 inch lift with all the perks). Then I got my 08 my senior year... wish I had all that gas money back now

22. And lack of knowledge? I bet I've rebuilt more engines than you'll ever dream of. I did 5 tractor engines on the farm this summer alone.

I pulled a tandem axle trailer with 2 wheelers on it across a disked up field after 2 inches of rain in that truck and didn't get stuck. The thing will go which is surprising. But I've gone in and turned off all the electric shite that limits it and reprogrammed the engine.

I paid for all of it myself. Had a job working since I was in 4th grade. My credit rating as a college student is a 752.

Congrats. I've got you by a decade and I was raised by a dad that taught me alot about cars. He worked in the auto service industry my entire life. Service manager at dealerships and now owns one of the most successful shops in MS.

You may have installed a superchip or hypertech on there but in no way did you get around the PCM in that truck without completely disabling it. That is the problem with new shite. It is too computerized.

eta: "lack of knowledge" was referring to the capabilities of a Jeep. It amuses me that most people nowadays get a hard on for big heavy jacked up shite that is nothing but a waste of money. ie, F250/GM 2500 Diesels 4door long as shite and jacked up to the sky. shite like that wont do anything but get you stuck.

Fair enough

I'm pretty up front about the fact I've not had to pay for shite.

Odd aside, the MSU fans Jeep is blue. Mine is maroon.....
