LSU potentially could, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I would say LSU could.

Oregon and TAMU would be an exciting game and definitely one I'd watch.

I'd give A&M a 50/50 shot. There would be a ton of points, that's for sure.
Oregon is a helluva lot better than La. Tech.

Even after the way their year ended La Tech had the #1 scoring offense in the country. On defense Oregon is obviously better but USC put up 51 points on them. I'm not saying A&M would win but we'd match up well and it'd be a close game.

The Auburn team and LSU team that beat Oregon in those 2 years were both better than any team in the SEC this year.
Having said that, Bama probably wins a close game with them by using the same game plan as those two teams. No other SEC beats Oregon this year.
Probably so, but LSU obliterated them last year and the Auburn game was close because Cam injured his back early in the game.
I think Bama, LSU, South Carolina, A&M, and maybe Georgia would beat them this year.

Give LSU any other offense from the SEC excluding Florida, and I think we do. With ours...hell no.

I honestly don't think anyone from the SEC would beat them this year. They look like the best team in the country

LSU would get rawkhawked unless Les Miles called out sick.

Honestly, I'd say the home team wins if we were to play them. That's true with most of the top SEC teams though. I think we could seal the edge off with Clowney and Taylor and make them run up the middle. Good luck. Our secondary is pretty underrated as well. I think we could sustain drives and hold on to the ball long enough to give our defense good resting time between the Ducks' offensive possessions, especially with Lattimore. We held Clemson to their lowest output of the season at their house. I know Oregon is better than Clemson but having homefield advantage would be huge.

Texas A&M beats Oregon 59-57.

We do, with ease. Stanford stopped them and we're way more physical than they are. Plus I'd venture to say we have a much better O than Stanford does. We win by at least 17.

We'll find out if they can hit triple digits against us when we go to Autzen on September 14. They probably will since Kelly won't be there to show mercy like he usually does.

IMO everyone is too impressed by a victory over K-State. Arkansas played almost the exact same K-State squad last year in the Cotton Bowl and physically mauled them.
Oregon's win over K-State is not as impressive as everyone is making it.

This team this year is pretty good. The team that lost to Auburn & LSU wasn't too bad either. This was the year minus that slip-up with Stanford

They're nothing like TAMU. Manziel beat Alabama with the pass, not the run. His ability to extend the play and then make an accurate throw is incredible and is what gave TAMU the edge vs. Bama.
When you look at the PAC 12 and Big 12 teams, they just don't do well against the SEC. Those offenses just get shut down when they run into a good SEC defense. For the Big 12, there is a threshold typically- if defense >= x, domination; else if defense < x, give up 35+ points. SEC teams match up very well against Oregon. They're defense is not good enough to hold up to an SEC running game and the SEC defenses are good enough to get their offense back on the field quickly and frequently.

I'd give anything to see this game.
I actually think South Carolina would give Oregon the most fits from the upper echelon SEC teams. Dominant defensive lines are what stall Oregon, and South Carolina has the best in the SEC.
I've said this elsewhere (and I'm not saying Oregon is more deserving than Bama), but I think Oregon would be the toughest matchup for Bama of any team outside of a rematch with A&M.
