Auburn's known about the investigation for several weeks. The public just found out about it today.

Nothing will change with Cam until the NCAA finds "new" information.

This.

NCAA can impose stiffer penalties if a school decides to continue using a player under investigation. What Auburn is doing is determining how much validity there is to the story. Like another poster said, the tale of the tape will be whether Cam plays this Saturday or not.
