Yea - it's hard to track down Top 5/10/15 finishes and all of that to go along with National Titles/Bowl Wins/etc, and things have changed so much throughout the years with "big bowls" and the like.
I'd be happy to use BMKyle's ranking if he throws it in here. It's very solid.

Any list that has the Bulldogs at ten in the SEC is stupid.

How is Georgia so low in baseball if we’ve won a natty, finished runner up, and been to the CWS 6 times? No way Missouri is ahead of us. You’re missing something.

No way Alabama is in front of us either.

Because outside of the national title Georgia is in the bottom 1/2 or bottom 1/3 of every other category

It's actually pretty insane that Georgia has been to the CWS in almost half of their NCAAT appearances. The only SEC schools with less NCAAT appearances are Kentucky (7) and Tennessee (9). The only other schools with less than 20 are Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
Also, Missouri has 1 national title, 3 runners up, 6 CWS appearances and 22 NCAAT appearances.

Yea, but AP polls come out before the tournament even starts. Kind of defeats the purpose. That might work for a regular season add on though.

You shouldn’t get any points just for making the tournament. That’s stupid. And winning a natty should be worth a lot more.
Posted on 3/11/19 at 4:41 pm to ZeusStamos
Yeah, same for basketball. I suspect Arkansas is ranked ahead of us because of more tourney appearances even though we've won more actual tournament games.

I was getting ready my insult for the '64 championship

Why? Because it hurts Georgia? Making the tournament is a widely agreed upon general sign of low level success in a season. It would be dumb as hell to ignore that.

Maybe so - that's reasonable, but how much more? It's already worth quite a bit. 25 or 30 maybe?
