OSU a champion with 3 Top 10 wins vs Bama’s best win against MSU. Keep telling yourself that and you might believe it yourself .

They also had two losses. Both double digits with one being a raping by a 8-5 team. A potential national champion doesn’t lose to an 8-5 team by 31 points.

And you should be satisfied by this. If Alabama didn’t make it in, UGA would’ve likely won the NC instead. Then you’d have to bear all the UGA fans that would flood this board for the entire off season.

How many losses did Ohio State have?
How many losses did Alabama have?

You are wrong...

What will really frost you up is that if Auburn had won the SECCG, they would not have been in the playoffs....

Your argument about Wisconsin vs Bama as the Committee’s only two choices doesn’t hold water, since OSU was 5th in the last poll (UW 6th).

You are wrong again. Ohio State got into the conversation by winning the Big Ten, but they had two losses. They got to #5 due to that win.

Alabama and Wisconsin were comparable, with comparable records, but not to the "Eye Test". If Wisconsin had won the Big Ten, they would have gone over Alabama.

Are you sure you paying attention?

But Wisconsin won their Division Championship (read the criteria). You keep chasing your tail. First it was OSU and their two loses, then it was Wisconsin. Then you claim there was a selection criteria, but they ignored it.

We have established that Big Ten champion Ohio State was out because of two losses.

Wisconsin and Alabama were equal, had the same records, and BOTH won their divisions (I know I have not mentioned that, but I thought you already knew that fact).

As I have stated the committee did use the established criteria.....

Goodness child

page one of the CFP criteria

When circumstances at the margins indicate that teams are comparable, then the following criteria must
be considered:
• Championships won
• Strength of schedule
• Head-to-head competition (if it occurred)
• Comparative outcomes of common opponents (without incenting margin of victory)

Stupid Puppet

The Playoff Committee said Alabama was "clearly and convincingly better". To the Playoff Committee it was a comparison between and undefeated Alabama team and everyone else.

I keep trying to tell you the Playoff Committee reviewed the Iron Bowl using All-22 footage. They saw everything that happened. So when Gus ran his cheat plays and when the refs stood around with their thumbs up their arses, the Playoff Committee saw it. In a correctly officiated game Barn U. would have been lucky to score 10 pts.

What's so amusing is that Barn U. locked up a coach for 7 years whose biggest *weapon*- his ability to get away with cheating- has been negated.

Typical. Stupid. Auburn.

There is an eye test as you call it. Problem is, it wasn't Alabama passing it. It was Auburn failing it.

So now the Bammers are claiming the West ? You have tiebreakers for a reason. The Committee recognized the tie-breaker because it allows a team to lose their Championship Game and still get in. Wisconsin is in without their Championship Game, because they were the recognized Divisional Champs. Boy, we have reached a new low with this and now UF fans are getting a reach around .

Then you can't claim 1988 as an SEC title anymore since LSU won the head to head. Busted.

Alabama is not claiming the west, reread your post, with the underlined word..... Auburn and Alabama tied for the west.....Auburn won the tie breaker

Do you even understand what a tie breaker means?

Obviously not.....

It means you tied.... it is the same thing that happened in 1989.....

Tie breakers are used to determine who represents the division or conference as Champion when a Championship is involved. Due some research on how many NFL teams who have lost the tie-breakers watch the playoffs at home.

What do you call the loser in OT or in a Golf sudden death playoff?

At the end of the day, the Committee got their shite right.

The four best teams duked it out, the two best went head to head and Alabama once again proved they deserved to be in the playoff yet again.

People bitched, moaned and complained about Bama getting in the BCS and collecting hardware. So, we have a CFP and they still bitch and complain about Bama getting in and collecting more hardware.

It is what it is folks and if Saban is anything, he is consistent. Bitch till they make recruiting rules to limit his interaction with HS players, bitch about over-signing till they put limitations on the signing class size (down to 25/yr), bitch about the BCS system, bitch about the CFP system. The man STILL fields a championship competitor every damn year.
