Since the beginning of bama's real run LSU is 2-9 agianst bama. Sure some of the games were nailbiters but there wasn't really a whole lot of back and forth. Granted, this UGA thing has only been 1 game, but I think it signaled what's to come for the forseeable future.

...aaaaand we have entered the terminal phase of the offseason. Everyone is on edge as the season approaches, and people are just trolling clumsily and randomly, knowing that even the weakest bait is bound to get a few bites this time of year. Like fishing with dynamite.

LSU beat us in 2007, 2010 and 2011 and won the SEC in 2007 and 2011, the natty in 2007 and would have won the natty in 2011 if not for us.
They gave us and the league all it wanted during that period.

You're correct, though many bama fans will show their bravado and say you're an idiot.
-Nobody in the last 10 years has recruited at bama's level. Which would be almost impossible to do since you've been in an entirely different stratosphere in that regard. In kirby's first full recruiting class uga finished 3rd to bama's 1. Last year kirby had one of the GOAT classes finishing far and away #1 to bama's 5th (including 7 5* to 2). Current recruiting class (unfinished of course) will have both teams right up there at the top both in the top 3. I don't think bama is used to an SEC team recruiting even remotely close to their level over the course of a full 4-year cycle but that's what's happening now.
-Their short-lived big time rivalry with UF/meyer and the couple years there where LSU/miles was a legit foe was a bit different because meyer and miles had multiple stops before then and were basically veterans. Kirby took bama to OT last year in only his 2nd year as a head coach, so you would think that we are just getting started. That's also gotta be a little worrisome.

From 2008 to 2011 they were 2-3 against us, and 2012 they were 60 seconds from winning the West and beating us again. They were every bit our challenger.
