Evidently they show too much skin. I'm working on it.

I can agree that the secondary will be a question mark, and cost Alabama a game But how is the offense going to? We return eight starters off a team that averages 32 PPG and over 400 YPG.

My only concern on offense is how well the O line will gel together. Our backfield will be even more explosive with Eddie Lacy being available as well

Losing Mike Johnson was like losing Larry Bird off your basketball team. No shite.

I say Bama loses two next year. I still say at LSU and at Neyland will be tougher than any regular season games last year. Tenn probably should have beat bama at BD (that block was a minor miracle) and next year the game is at Neyland. LSU may well have won at BD withhout some questionable calls and the game is in BR. Plus UF during the regular season (and yes, UF will not drop off much).

the only reason UT almost beat Bama last year was because of Monte Kiffin. I think Bama will crush them at Neyland this season.

Oh yeah, and Bama will not be as good next year either. Defense will certainly be worse and the offense will be about the same IMO. McElroy - about the same. Receivers - same. Runningbacks - a bit better. O-line - not as good.

But Alabama will drop off three games? Come on. If the block was a miracle, then Ingram fumbling to even set up a chance for a score, when he never fumbles, was a miracle too. LSU had no first downs and eight yards of offense in the fourth quarter, but they should have won?

They might, but AU will also be much improved. The schedule for Bama next year is simply much tougher and Bama will not be as good. Period.

I don't think you understand how much talent is on defense. It won't be a top two defense, but it will be top ten again.

1. Tough Schedule
2. All those bye weeks for opponents
3. Huge defensive personnel losses

No repeat.

Plus, Alabama will be playing all season with the pressure of being defending champ. No way they win it all. No way.

They should be happy if they win the West.

Alabama's schedule is extremely tough this season due to the 6 SEC teams having a by week before playing us.

There's no way we'll run that gauntlet. It's impossible.

Injuries will be crucial, and we have to find starting corner backs.

I know Alabama is talented, but national championship teams USUALLY don't come into a season with 9 new faces starting on defense, especially with 2 new faces at corner, especially in a conference like the SEC.

I still think Alabama should consider it a major accomplishment if they even PLAY in the SECCG next year.

True. but if there's any coach in the entire country that can coach up inexperienced cornerbacks it's Nick Saban.

*save for Ronnie Prude @ LSU. that guy was pretty garbage.

"finally, it was a down year across the college football landscape and especially in the SEC last year"

Damn I get tired of hearing you ppl say that shite. After 2 years of the same excuse, can't you think up a new one?

How long can we expect to hear that? If bama goes undefeated next year are you gonna spout that same bullshite?

What? You lose 9 players on ONE side of the ball and think championship or bust?

Talk about delusional. Winning the west should make you all ecstatic. Not to mention your losses on special teams as well.
