Since 1980....the number of 10+ win seasons by each school, including OU and Texas:
1. ALABAMA - 22
2. OKLAHOMA - 21
3. GEORGIA - 19
4. FLORIDA - 16
5. TEXAS - 14
6. LSU - 13
7. AUBURN, TENNESSEE - 11
9. TEXAS A&M - 8
10. ARKANSAS - 6
11. MISSOURI - 5
12. SOUTH CAROLINA - 4
13. OLE MISS, MISSISSIPPI STATE - 2
15. KENTUCKY - 1
16. VANDERBILT - 0 (however, they're 8-3-1 vs. TEXAS)

Keep in mind Texas' winning % was in the Little 12.
I wager about half the SEC schools could have managed a similar winning % there.

1 x NC (a 1 pt loss from playing for a 2nd NC), 1 x Conf Champ share, 2 x outright Conf Champs, played for multiple Conf Champs, and 9 x 10+ seasons in the "washed up", "has been" 25 yr era of Bama football between Bryant and Saban.
It did suck more often than not from a fan perspective, but still produced results many other teams would take right now, no questions asked.
