I just got to thinking. With the electricity being off in North Alabama, I wonder if all of the dams will have enough power to open the flood gates so the water can go through??? This could get even worse for folks.

The looters were in full force last night. My car and just about every other car in the parking lot was looted. They even took my cologne, wrist straps, and gloves. I also had money in my console. Took PS3's and Xboxes and 32'' TVs from my work....and pryed the cash drawers open.

We have 3 box delivery trucks. One was on it's side, one of the others was in front of what was Big Lots (the box was missing and it looked like a flat bed), and the other was upside down behind where Steak Out used to be.

A Full Moon van was thrown across the street into Krispy Kreme.

The force of those winds is just incredible...

id imagine they have some built in generators, plus they are probably on the top of the list for power to be restored.

i know this from all the hurricanes here that things like these dams, hospitals, gov buildings will get power back first then the university, and residential areas.

No doubt it's gonna get uglier and uglier. You have to look hard just to find gas anywhere.

its sad but not surprising that people would do that.

there were reports earlier that at least one looter got taken out

its stunning when you see how much weight these storms can really move.

id think a ceiling has been put on gas to stop stations from jacking up the price on the remaining gas.

That is just a rumor floating around. It hasnt been mentioned on the news. My friend lives in Owens Cross Roads AL which is between Huntsville and Guntersville and has watched the water come about 150 ft closer to his house that has never had water anywhere near it.

In my store, we have an iron mattress rack where we put all of our mattresses and boxsprings. It held up the roof/wall keeping it from collapsing on top of us. There were 5 of us that rode that shite out.

I cant wait to get the pics from my coworkers so I can post them...
