Just checking in... Tornado touched down a street over from where my dorm is. It's chilling. Prayers to Alabama.

Hey.....does anyone know anything about the Madison, AL area?...just outside Huntsville?

I have an Aunt, Uncle, and 2 cousins that live there. Didn't know they got hit until my dad mentioned it and said he hasn't been able to get in touch with them.

I'm at a loss for words...I truly am saddened by these events and I pray for everyone involved. I can't imagine anything like that happening where I'm at. This is just all bad....

shite....that's a 30 minute drive per google maps.

frick....i'm worried as hell right now. My mom's side of the family all lives overseas and my dad's side has 3 uncles living in America. Two in MS, I don't care about(long story).....that Uncle in Madison and his family are the only family members that I communicate with.

I live on the east side of Birmingham about 100 miles from Tuscaloosa and have a bunch of stuff from Tuscaloosa in my yard.

Something from the Probate Office from 1929. Some type of land deed I think. And a misdemeanor arrest record for somebody.

I had the front page of the Crimson and White student newspaper along with a bunch of paperwork and building materials.

Madison City is asking residents for a voluntary evacuation out of the city. Residents are being asked to try and go out of town and stay with relatives in unaffected areas.

Apparently the city was hit hard. They have asked all the residents to voluntarily evacuate.

There has been a lot of this happening over the last three weeks. There is a period of spring in which conditions seem to be ripe for this shite, but watching it happen at the magnitude it has for the last three weeks has been mind boggling and gut wrenching. My thoughts snd prayers. I am sure there will be a site to donate to in a few days.

They have some family a good drives North of them near or across the TN border. I'm hoping that they just went to stay with them.

I know they live behind the Publix Supermarket in a fairly nice subdivision. Can't find their address at the moment.
