I'm not sure if this video has been posted or not, but here is the closest video to the tornado that I've seen. Right across the street from the most damage. Give it a sec to get close...

That can't be a well populated area, but it got totally flatten by the sounds of that. That's horrifying.
It's not. But there are a few towns that are small that this has happened to today.

They say there is nothing left of the town. Prayers are with everyone, all over the state, and all over the Southeast.
I've been called to help with some stuff, and I'm totally dreading the reality of the situation when it becomes more clear tomorrow.

This is one of many stories we'll hear like this.
You seem pretty familiar with the area affected. I've been at work today, give me an idea the scope of the storm if you can?

There was a missing 7 week old baby that they just found in Pleasant Grove. The paramedics were doing CPR on the mother and gave the baby to a on looker to take care of. She finally got back in touch with the police. The baby's mother died with just the father left.

I know my old community of Cahaba Heights, which is right behind the Summit in B'ham got hit this morning pretty hard.
Lots of small towns up in the northern part of the state got hit, MT Gilead is the 2nd I've heard of being completely flattened.
I haven't heard anything from Hale County, a place that is about 30 minutes outside of Tuscaloosa. I've got a lot of friends and people I consider family who live there, and I don't know how any of them are.

A mile and a half wide and it cut a swath from t-town to b-ham? I can't imagine this system popped two tornadoes of that strength that close together. It had to leave whole towns completely flattened in it's wake. It's hard to even imagine the scope of that kind of damage.
