Why the hell would Alabama Power do that? Why would the stockholders allow that? How could do they do that for years and not get in trouble with the Securities and Exchange Commission?
Even if it's speculation, you have to admit that it's odd that the CEO of Alabama Power is an Alabama grad. Alabama Power headquarters is located next to the SEC headquarters in Birmingham, who is also ran by Alabama grads. There is no logical reason to base the SEC headquarters in Birmingham Al.
Alabama's success started around the same time that Mark Crosswhite took over as CEO of Alabama Power, also the same time Alabama started pulling in number 1 recruiting classes every year.
Alabama has backed into not 1 but 2 National Championship games without playing in a conference championship game.
Tons of video evidence of Bama players holding every play, targeting with no calls, spotting 1st downs by several yards, players openly punching opposing players without being flagged, no calls on Bama players stepping out of bounds.
The money is coming from somewhere.

They would have to form a large group of supporters, hire attorneys, and that all cost tons of money to organize, money that your average resident does not have to take on.
Attorneys wouldn't charge up front on a suit like this. Go see an attorney in Birmingham and present your case, if it is as obvious as you make it out to be they will see huge $$$ and take your case on a contingency fee

Think about it, lil ole Alabama controlling the New York Times, FBI, ESPN, most of the state and federal government, etc. That's fvckin impressive.
This is not as far fetched when you are stealing money from a whole state of unknowing residence to fund it. 1 person or a group of boosters would not be able to fund this amount on their own.

So Alabama Power, Southern Company, Delloite (SoCos Auditors), the SEC (the real one, not the football one) and the Department of Energy are all in on this. Because, well, for this to be true they'd all have to be in collusion or at least nodding at it for it to happen.
Again, damned impressive for little ole Alabama.

I am just one person on the internet, hopefully someone will look into it, and if it's true start investigating it like Clay Travis or CBS and bring it all to the open. Until then just keep stealing money and cheating Alabama, it's all y'all got anyway.

I was also told that their power bills have increased each year since 2008, and during the summer months leading up to football season that it's not unusual to see $400 - $500 per month power bills.
yeah, this isn't all that uncommon in older houses of reasonable size during the summer in the South. I rented a 3BR house during law school in Atlanta and we had electric bills in the $350-400 range during the summer.

They were telling me that other power companies have tried to enter the Alabama market but will either be forced out or actually bought out by Alabama Power, such as TVA, and Southern Company.
Tennessee Valley Authority...
Southern Company, headquartered in Atlanta, GA....
This may be the most tinfoil hat wearing thread I've seen the past couple of days.

They said that they cannot get answers for some of the fees reporting on their power bill or answers on why their power bills seem to increase higher every year.
Yeah, I had the same problems with Comcast, better check to see if UGA is cooking their books

No Sir, Southern Company operates A lot of power companies in an umbrella. Alabama Power, Ga Power, Mississippi Power are just a few who allow Southern Company to operate. Each operating company has their on BOD and are separate from SoCo. I work for them. Great place to work
