Do you really think we need Alabama Power to pay recruits and refs? lol 1 booster could handle the cost.

I believe it would cost millions to year after year pay all the parties involved to look the other way. I also find it interesting that Alabama sucked before 2008 when Mark Crosswhite took over, and power bills started increasing.

Where was the money coming from for all of the championships before 2008? Golden Flake charging an extra few cents a bag?

Why is Alabama the 2nd highest in the country for electricity cost, but the 23rd largest in population? That does not add up.

Because you failed basic math?

Answers!

quote:

Residential electricity rates in Alabama average 11.4¢/kWh, which ranks the state 23rd in the nation.

quote:

The average monthly residential electricity bill in Alabama is $135, which ranks 2nd in the U.S.

Translation:
Alabamians use more electricity than most, if not all, other Americans. Why?
Probably because the summer there is hot as balls.

LSU fan fails math class, uses lack of understanding to fuel conspiracy theory.

If you had seen his other posts in the poliboard, it's clear he's a troll.

Or has an IQ of potato.

I go there about once a year these days. Any additional exposure to the Poliboard is known to lead to cancer.

I see you posting in there more than once a year.

And think of it this way...the best way to build a healthy immune system is to constantly expose it to germs.

I'm all in on bias. But this is a little far fetched even for me.

This is not the Poli board, but I imagine Alabama football is no different than the Republican party who is controlled by old rich white guys who use their money and power to dictate everything.

So Alabama, one of the poorest, dumbest states in the country, is able to pull off this grand conspiracy without a single protest from Auburn, yet no other state can manage to do the same thing.

Interdasting.

I don't know, this is just what some of my friends who live in Alabama were saying. They said that they cannot get answers for some of the fees reporting on their power bill or answers on why their power bills seem to increase higher every year. You have to admit that Alabama politicians are the most corrupt of any state, their last governor had to resign early due to corruption. They don't have any professional sports teams in the state to support, so basically Alabama is their professional sports team. I would imagine if this were true the Alabama fans in the state would not have a problem paying higher power bills to win championships, but it's really unfair to the rest of the programs outside of Alabama, or even the residence of Alabama who don't even follow sports. Also by Alabama doing this they are ruining college football until they are stopped.

How do you like being a fan of a University that is too stupid to realize this is happening in the same state?

How would residence of a state stop this anyway? They would have to form a large group of supporters, hire attorneys, and that all cost tons of money to organize, money that your average resident does not have to take on. Plus you depend on power to live, I am sure a company this large could shut down any kind of movement just by cutting their power and resources.
