Not sure that your recruit rankings are a compliment to your coaches win loss record.

We also went 0-2 against Ole Miss in 2014 and 2015. And funny enough, the 2015 win for Ole Miss was due to Alabama turning the ball over 5 times. And they still also barely won.
If Oklahoma can win on Friday, it will be your first big win over Alabama.

Nope, it is just a win.. more like a first round BYE really. You should not be in the CFP.... our opponent should have been Notre Dame.

The games only "matter" if Bama wins them. Bama has only ever lost games that don't "matter".

If Oklahoma wins Friday it will definitely matter.
When people talk about games "mattering" in the SEC, they don't mean all games are worthless, they mean they weren't part of the national championship picture.
So if I bring up Alabama won the SECCG in 2021 to a Georgia fan, it's not a game that matters to them because they still won the NC. Alabama still won a SEC title and all that shite, but it's just not a game that matters to them, nor should it really be.
I certainly wanted to win all those other games against Oklahoma, they just weren't as painful and whatever because they didn't have national championship consequences. Take the Sugar Bowl loss to Oklahoma, the actual pain was a month earlier when Alabama lost to Auburn on the kick six.

Georgia was beat almost as bad in the 2021 SECCG by Alabama. Beaten worse if you look beyond the score since Alabama shut it down at the end.

Sometimes one team goes into a game breathing fire while the other is business as usual or less.
If the Sugar Bowl had been for something more than a big trophy that would have factored into the player's pregame attitude.
For Oklahoma that Sugar Bowl was a redemption after losing twice in the regular season.
It just meant more.
