the more i think about it the more that i prefer going 8-5 and winning our respective bowl game then going 10-3 or 11-2 and losing it. i know it sounds strange but, i can remember how shitty i felt after we lost to iowa in the cap one game in 04.

Since 2000 LSU leads the series 6-3 with the home team usually losing. I think we play in Tuscalooser in 2009 so you might want to keep you mouth shut about the series.
Alabama had a cupcake shcedule til they played LSU, which we all know the Tigers struggled this year, and the Tide needed OT to win that game. Then when you actually played someone like Florida, you got your arse beat and then the Sugar Bowl, LOL, what an embarrasment for the SEC.

i was saying that i felt much better about a win than i did about losing the last one. i can't imagine how it feels to lose in a bcs game.
especially against a non-bcs team.

all the bowls are meaningless except the title game. who gives a shite whether you win, lose, or which one you're in. they're all exhibitions as far as i'm concerned.

Only a gump would think there's such a thing as a good loss. Probably why the losing streaks to LSU and Auburn weren't painful for you guys.
