Alabama is better than LSU. We expect to win.

I can't forsee a situation where the Tide lose this game, but I can respect that LSU fans do. They have a very solid team and are riding high after some pretty good wins.
I'm confused by the weird disdain some have shown towards the excited LSU fans who are optimistic about their chances. I personally respect the fire of other teams fans. I can't respect anything less. Nothing makes me cringe more than UT or A&M fans who "accept their fate." What's the point?
Sorry for the long post from a lurker. Just wanted to say we're going to smoke the Tigers, but I respect the hell out of the confidence. We need more of that.

Y’all are acting like you’re playing Rice at home. Newsflash it’s the #4 ranked team in the nation in Death Valley. On top of that, we are more fired up than ever to get this win. I’m not saying I’m expecting a win, but to act like y’all will win by 50 (like every Bama fan) is straight delusional, and I want the drugs y’all are on.

I have no disdain for Alabama, they’ve earned the right to have the expectations that they have.
A&M though, nope.. no respect whatsoever. Texag7 is without a doubt the biggest douche known to man. A&M hasn’t won a national championship in 79 years. Yet we’ll constantly hear about how much better they are and about their money.

Bama fans expect Bama to win because they usually do, and have more than any other SEC team in, well the history of the league. And even before that.
L7U expects to lose because, well Bama has been winning in Baton Rouge since we’ve been going there to play football games.
Our daddies, granddaddies and even great granddaddies have all experienced the same thing. The Tide won’t lose in Baton Rouge.
The sun rises in the east and sets in the West. Grass is green. Flowers bloom in the spring. And Alabama whips that river rat trash in football every fall. It’s how the world is supposed to work.

If anyone can beat Bama this year it’s LSU at home

We have to play the game anyway, may as well get hyped about it and buy in. If we’re wrong who gives a shite?

Well we've had some solid practice the last 8 weeks. Not to mention the practice in between those games against better defenses than anything we'll face this year.
I'll avoid posting stats. Those don't seem to matter in this game. But LSU might not face an offense like ours in the next 10 years.

Alabama is definitely favored to win but I’m with you on the other fan bases cowering before Bama. It’s desperate and disgusting. My team will fight to win and our fans won’t lick any boots if we lose.

The reason it's my favorite game of the year. The others seem to wilt when we rise. LSU, not so much. I may be rare, but I love it. Even my barn friends shrink to the challenge. Some of them couldn't even talk garbage after last year because of how weak they were before the game.

I expect LSU to win the game. I know Alabama is good, but I think LSU will win. Straight up. I think it will be a lower scoring game and the home team will win.

The knee will be fine and the backup ( Hurts) will be back just in time for the second half of this game.
