I realize the comments on that site are fun smack talk but don't you still need to be coming from a perspective of superiority for the insults to have any comedic effect? I get all the crazy Bama sidewalk fan cracks which are mostly true and are quite funny. Our fanbase is loaded with crazy sidewalk fans and hangers on. HOWEVER, state of Alabama jokes from Mississippians? REALLY?!!! Mississippi is one of the very few states that Alabama routinely beats in education/income/economy/quality of life measures, etc. Alabama is a relatively poor state but the state sh### on Mississippi in that area as well. Stennis, NASA's rocket testing facilities in coastal Mississippi, is managed and run out of Alabama's Marshal Space Flight center where the rockets for space exploration and military use are designed. In fact, the country's space program was basically born and developed in Huntsville. The University of Alabama School of Medicine located in Birmingham receives more federal funding (NIH) than all Mississippi based colleges combined and is only surpassed by Duke and Emory as far as medical schools in the Southeastern U.S. are concerned.
As for all the "piece of s###" cracks against Alabama the school is just as funny. When was the last time Ole Miss ranked within 40 spots of Alabama in the U.S. News and World Report rankings?

You obviously don't know how comedy works. Comedy is pretty much mixing reality with the absurd and pretty sure this is a football forum. Not a NASA space program forum?
Don't be such a pussy by getting your feelings hurt about how most of the SEC/ the south feels about you, your fans, University of Alabama and the state of Alabama.
