It’s not just about getting there man. It’s about getting there and winning. If 2002 UGA was so good then why weren’t they considered one of the best 2 teams in America?

Exactly, Which is where the luck came in. Due to the losses to Florida, both teams needed luck to get a shot. Only LSU had the necessary luck.
