The No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide could reportedly be without one of their top defensive players for an extended period of time.

In the Crimson Tide's 47-23 win over South Carolina on Saturday, junior defensive end LaBryan Ray was unable to finish the game after reaggravating a foot injury that he sustained during the offseason.

According to AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, Ray's injury is feared to be “long-term and potentially season-ending."

Damn man. Every one assumes Bama is immune to depth issues be we definitely are not. This one will hurt bad.

Bama probably has some one with more talent just not the same experience that will fill in easily.

Lots of season ending injuries this year. Florida has had 3, think this is 4 for Bama. Sure there are more, you hate to see it.

That's rough, especially considering that Bama hasn't even faced a good team yet.

It's week 3, we don't know if anyone has faced a good team yet, or if we have any good teams on the schedule ahead

Nobody is immune, just think people realize you have more depth than most. Obviously at some point it stops mattering how many stars you have when you only have a couple of bodies.

All teams have scored on us, that's more than shite LSU can say two of the last three years.

Man, I'm just laughing at an LSU fan talking shite about teams that can actually score on Bama.

It's hysterical
