And yet everyone forgets that we didn't get a bye week at all last year, and the Bama game was our 5th road game in 6, with LSU the only home game, and our 3rd in a row. The argument that Bama only lost because they played LSU the week before (I'm not referring here to Alahunter in particular) is asinine considering the schedule we had to endure up to the Bama game. We won because we were the better team that day, PERIOD.

A&M would have easily beat ND as bad as Bama did in the national championship, if not worse do to the up-tempo nature of our offense.

Addressing your question, Bama would have beat Oregon by at least 2 TDs. Everyone wants to act like Oregon's offense is the be all end all of HUNH offenses, but they forget that A&M's OL>>>>Oregon's OL, and THAT is why we were able to give Bama's defense trouble. Bama's DL would dominate Oregon's OL and substantially slow down the offense very similar to what Stanford did.
