As opposed to a University that enables serial rape and coverup? What can you expect from a CULTURE that embezzled more than $500,000 from a hospital foundation and decided it would be better spent is they gave some of the stolen money to the parents of two former LSU football players?

Now that spells CULTURE.

Alabama obviously isn't getting elite students, but I do wonder if applications will see a drop with all this bad PR. I wouldn't want to send my child to a university where certain students can terrorize the town with impunity because they happen to be talented athletes. At a certain point the danger outweighs the fun that comes with going to a school with successful football and basketball programs.

As compared to the racial climate of a fine University like Mizzou. A climate so toxic that students finally rebelled and the head football coach decided to retire? That Mizzou?

Seems like I remember black students reported having racial slurs hurled at them. They criticized what they believed to be administrators’ inadequate response to those incidents. Protesters from a group called Concerned Student 1950 -- a reference to the year the university admitted its first black student -- blocked a car carrying the University of Missouri System’s president, Tim Wolfe, during a homecoming parade. Wolfe did not get out of the car to speak to protesters, and he later issued an apology for the way he handled the incident. He would continue to struggle to communicate with protesters.

That racist University, is somehow the one we want our kids enrolled in?

That was almost a decade ago. Everyone involved is gone from the university and real changes were made to the university. Can you say the same about Bama after all the crimes committed by athletes? Or are you just going to deflect again and bring up past troubles of another university instead of admitting that you support a university that is extremely lenient on the crimes committed by star athletes?

Buy a map. The racial tension in that state is geographically associated with the areas of deep segregation. Racism and the state of Misouri aren't going anywhere.

"Hey shorthorns, how is all that recent culture going?"

Hmmm...is this what the professionals call, "deflection?"

You sure picked odd examples for your pitiful attempts as deflection, it would seem. Note the difference in those stories, gump? Even WITHOUT final legal answers forcing actions, UT ACTED on scum actions with timely reasonable responses that show consequences for bad actors.

Note any differences between that and what "win at all costs no matter what, and consequences be damned" actions that exist at your place? Perhaps the roll tide you folks often refer to is the rolling over the innocent victims and hiding/deflecting scum actions to fill a trophy case--and humanity and even basic decency can just go hang?

I'd say it's much more a shorthorn problem. This is all about Sark's watch and Chris Beard. Which includes your freakin' basketball coach being fired with cause just a few months ago.

Face it shorthorn, your sports teams are a mess and a national embarassment.

Can you imagine needing to have a binder from all other teams at your fingertips, and the time and energy it would take to do it? Now I wonder why anyone would bother to ever do that??

Oh, then you see it is the fanbase that will apparently excuse anything, and need constant ready deflective replies at hand to pray [in vain] that detractors forget the unnaturally inexcusable 50 page long felony rap sheet for all of the athletic teams?

OP hit it on the head. One doesn't need to be jealous (the most typical lame response) to point out that a pig in crimson red lipstick is still a pig (no offense intended on that pun, Arky fans.)

P.S. - and what did we do with Chris Beard? Would you do that with Saban, or even your BBball coach? [Sorry you took the damaged goods, Old Miss. Good luck with that. We will carry our own cross with Sark, who I am not a huge fan of. At least he paid a price, and our bet is that perhaps repentance may be possible.]

A Texas Longhorns freshman football player has been suspended from team activities after a recent arrest in his hometown.

According to Brazos County jail records, incoming freshman Keithron Lee was arrested on assault charges Sunday. His bond was set at $5,000.

July 20, 2022, An arrest affidavit shows Longhorns basketball player and Kimball High School graduate Arterio Morris was accused of assaulting his girlfriend in early June
The conversation turned physical, according to the woman's statement, and Morris allegedly grabbed her by the forearm and pulled her off of a bed. Morris allegedly then grabbed her by her sports bra and pulled on it, creating what police described as a "3-inch long abrasion on the right side of her neck."

According to Frisco Police's affidavit, Morris initially told police there had been no physical contact between him and the woman and that he was surprised she'd called the police. After learning of her allegation, police said Morris altered his statement to say that he may have accidentally grabbed her bra while trying to pull the covers off of her as she ignored his attempts to talk to her.

Morris was arrested on June 2 and charged with misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury to a family member, according to documents obtained by NBC 5.

The Austin American-Statesman reported Morris posted a $3,500 bond and was released on June 3 from the Denton County Jail. The paper also reported that Morris was still working out with the team while they conduct their own investigation.

Morris was a five-star recruit out of Kimball High School and was ranked as the 17th-best player nationally and the No. 1 point guard in his class by ESPN

Sep.27, 2022, Longhorns DB Ishmael Ibraheem was Suspended Indefinitely.

AUSTIN - The Texas Longhorns football program and head coach Steve Sarkisian received troubling news on Tuesday when redshirt freshman cornerback Ishmael Ibraheem was arrested by University police, per a report from KXAN News.

Tuesday's arrest was just the latest in the troubled career of Ibraheem, who was arrested and suspended last season on allegations of releasing revenge porn.

Ibraheem was also arrested in high school on charges of carjacking and evading arrest.

September 19, 2022,

UT Longhorn DeMarvion Overshown was arrested for marijuana possession.

Chris Beard - Texas basketball coach - Arrested and fired for assault of girlfriend.

Speaking of a shorthorn in dire need of lipstick.

Does simple re-posting seem to convince you that your argument has grown stronger?

Perhaps Gump fan's attention spans are that short??
