Ah yes, '31. The great depression made it kind of hard for everyone to truly enjoy the beatdown though. :/

Well just 8 years after that the Aggies won their last national championship. So there’s that cool fact.

In the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery. Frank Thomas's first season. We had a lot of injuries, but our boys stepped off that locomotive, strapped on their leathers and played with one heartbeat. It was clear then that the dynasty created by Wallace Wade would continue. I think we all remember it well.

I think the people that were alive to remember that don't remember much anymore.

Lots of controversy surrounding that game. Rumors had swirled that Clemson's halfback was in fact an ineligible Italian

And it was a young team and only 1 five star player yet, they persevered. Glorious times. Alabama had the Southern Conference by the tail.

Fisticuffs nearly ensued when it was implied that Pooley Hubert's dear mother wore trousers and drove a motorcar

B'Ho Kirkland killed a man, right before the game started, who spit on his Valomilk candy bar. Bama players would frick you up.

Jello. They still remember jello. Especially green jello. That is their favorite.

On the exact same day LSU Grandad was celebrating the birth of his sixth great grandson.
