But all of a sudden, the CDC from the rafters. Boom.

potential reducing of quarantine to 7-10 days according to the bipolar CDC

"The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention may soon shorten the length of time it recommends that a person self-quarantine after potential exposure to the coronavirus, hoping that such a step will encourage more people to comply, a top agency official said.

CDC officials are finalizing recommendations for a new quarantine period that would likely be between seven and 10 days and include a test to ensure a person is negative for Covid-19, said Henry Walke, the agency’s incident manager for Covid-19 response."

- This would make the season very doable.

Last I checked, the CDC protocol included two negative tests allowed you to avoid any quarantine. WTF is up with these folks.

Common sense says that approach would not work for a NCAA basketball team and is only theoretical in nature when discussing the topic at hand.

Alright then. Make sure to wear your mask like a good little citizen.

I don't play NCAA basketball, so I don't quite know why I have anything to do with this. Deciding as a random citizen to wear a mask or not is totally irrelevant to what we are talking about.

BREAKING: ?@CDCgov? is finalizing recommendation to shorten time that people exposed to Covid-19 quarantine for seven to 10 days instead of 14, a top agency official tells ?@betswrites?

How about that, the political establishment is close to getting Biden elected, and magically covid and the quarantine period slowly begins to disappear.

Not sure I agree with that. My daughter and her fiancé caught COVID a week and a half ago, and are in quarantine - we won't be seeing them for Thanksgiving which sucks. The thing is, it didn't really hurt him much, with mild flu symptoms. My daughter, who is in great physical shape, got it in her lungs and narrowly avoided the hospital. She didn't go, because they couldn't really afford it and refused to do so, but for the past week on and off she has to be monitored for having trouble breathing. It comes and goes. All said and done, she will go to the hospital if her fiancé deems it necessary.

But it varies in the effects that it has - as does the severity of the symptoms. So I don't think it is so cut and dry.

Sorry to hear that about your daughter. I hope she continues to get better and regains her health quickly.

I know you were responding to the "at risk" statement, but I think the big thing here in terms of postponement regards the contact-tracing, which involves players who haven't tested positive.

Common sense dictates if you want to play basketball, play basketball.

Otherwise hide in fear of a virus and hope you don't catch it.

You people and your blind acceptance of tyranny is mind boggling.

Well said.

On the contrary... they are reacting to how submissive the population is. If the country stood up in May and told the government to kiss their butt, you wouldn’t be wondering how stupid you look when you pass some equally goofy looking chick in produce aisle at Publix.
