Looks like Kansas. I don’t love it, but way better than Coleman.

That basically is the exact same layout as the inside of our arena

I was thinking it looks like one of those open air food court type of buildings. The kind with numerous restaurants and lots of common seating

I love this layout and the big windows. Will make those Saturday games much more enjoyable.

Pretty weak record for such an elite coach.

Where are they proposing to build this?

A whole lot of similarities to Ole Miss (which is good - that appears to be a great arena).

Because of COVID obviously, duh. All 8 years of it.

The inside looks beautiful. Hope their layout is loud enough.

The scuttlebutt from people who know was shovels in the ground summer, completed Spring or Fall 2024. The folks who told me that back in December also said this specific presentation and vote would happen at this board meeting, so I have no reason to doubt them on it.

Where? Coleman parking lot toward the law school and baseball facility?

Yep, beautiful. I kinda just wish it was about 1k seats bigger. I know empty seats are an albatross but I’ve always thought they could add a GA third section on arenas this size that remains closed until the bottom two sections are filled. Could come into play for gymnastics and I wish they’d get concerts again.

Looks really nice.

Alabama is about to have the nicest 3-sports arena/stadiums in the country.
Football-Basketball-Baseball will probably set the standard in NCAA.
