LSU football has never recovered from 40-13 in Mudbug Valley.

someone taking the time to open a thread and declare they or whoever else doesn’t care about the subject of said thread always cracks me up.

I didn’t say myself but you have to at least be aware enough to know that majority of college fans don’t give a shite about baseball the way they do football or men’s basketball. It’s popular in the south and is forgotten most everywhere else.

out of the 8 billion people or whatever it is on planet earth, what percentage care about college football? not a big number so i guess we should shut this board down.

Because your dumbass is bringing up a 30 year old baseball game when most have no clue what you’re talking about. But I get it - it’s either that or women’s basketball at this point for LsU.

Lsu fans have to resort to talking smack about non revenue sports.
What a shite predicament to be in.

so what?
Even at LSU, the most fanatical college baseball fanbase in the world, there are not enough fans to turn a profit.
College baseball does not matter to the vast majority of people, even in the south. Trying to troll someone over something they care nothing about is bound for failure as this thread demonstrates.

Nah. It was losing to UNC in the 2006 super regional. Program has never been the same. Wells retired three years later. And then the program really took a nose dive.

“College baseball is more popular than you think” is one of my favorite LSU fan swords that they will forever die on.
I’m a fan of college baseball but I can acknowledge that it’s a regional sport and even the best programs lose money.
