A lot of guys missed easy ones tonight. It seemed like the basket was covered in bacon grease sometimes.
I thought Jacobs played OK. He hustles and rebounds just like everyone else. We need to step up the 3 point shooting to free things up down low. We have several guys who can knock them down now, so we should be fine there. He could beat some smaller guys one on one because of how strong he is, but I think he kind of panics when he gets the ball in the post and the zone collapses down on him.

Engstrom actually looked halfway decent at times tonight. He needs to cut down on the fouls if he ever wants to see 10 minutes consistently, but he altered several shots and had a block or two in pretty limited time tonight.

Yeah he did. He gets good position sometimes but they rarely feed him thr ball and when they do, he drops it.

I thought Randolph looked a lot better in this game. All of the freshmen still seem a little shy on offense, but they all seem to have ability.

He definitely looked way better in this game than in the exhibition. Oakland didn't play tonight and their first game is with us so I don't know what to expect from them. 
I know they are typically good, especially last year.

The guys calling the game we're hilarious....one of the guys kept saying do the refs not realize i have the news to do tonight at 9....blah blah...it was like a couple of frat guys sitting around calling the game...funny stuff.

Bama's offense sucked dick last year and they still went 12-4. I don't think the first game of the season is any indication of how things will play out. That D is smothering.

We space the floor and pass beautifully. Florida will score on you, I can guarantee you that. You are going to have to find a much better offense than last year if you don't want to be embarrassed like last year.
