When is the last time Arky has beat Bama and LSU in the same year?

I think Bama runs the table like LSU did this year. Best offense and defense in the SEC.

Actually LSU is the near gimme win. They have difficult enough time beating us there when we sucked. They have no shot when Arkansas is good. LSU is way down the list of games that worry me for 2012.

It would be really hard to pick Alabama to beat Arky

Tide rolls. Hmmm... That was actually pretty easy.

I actually got curious and looked this up.

It was all the way back in 2000.

Defeated Alabama 28-21 and LSU 14-3. (Both games were at home if you're picking up what I'm putting down )

Why would you have trouble picking Bama? The D will return 6 starters...

Until the season actually begins, it will be hard for me to predict. Last year, before the season began, I thought we would lose to Bama and win against LSU. After watching the Oregon-LSU game, I knew we would have a difficult time with both, especially after losing Knile Davis for the year. I do think Arkansas will be a lot more balanced (re: offense, defense, running vs. passing, etc.) as a team this next year.

I think Arkansas's 3 toughest games next year will be (in order) 1) LSU, 2) AL, and 3) South Carolina.

We've had SC's number the past couple of years and they will be out to get us in their house.

Defensive improvement will be the key if we expect to run the table.

I agree that next year will be the best shot we've had to beat AL and LSU in the same season in a LONG time.

2011 was the best Arky team in 40 years, and we see how well that worked out.

I disagree. Even though the '11 team had more wins, I think there is a debate to be made about the '10 team actually being better than the '11 team.

I see us beating both teams next year since we get them at home. Bama being the 3rd game of the year is to our advantage. They will have an inexperienced D and we will be the first true passing team they play.

They get Michigan game 1 but that won't prepare them for our offense.

LSU in Fayetteville is a gimme. I'm more worried about the back to back road games before that.

2010, 2011 and 2012 will be 3 of our best teams in 40 years.

You know what that means right? It's becoming a trend, not an exception.

I'll bet you a Bama Ball Dangle that we're favored in the game next year.
