I'd use that pick and get a faster wideout if I we're in the chiefs front office.

I had my TV on mute for much of the Heisman ceremony, but I did see a graphic describing McCarron's career stats versus Top 10 teams.
I can't recite them from memory, but I think it was something like 8 Top 10 teams, 1,800 yards, 15 TDs, 2 Ints, and 62% completion.
My question: How does this compare to other Heisman finalist quarterbacks? Are these stellar stats, say, compared to Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck?

That may be true, but we do have a first round pick, it will be a late one, which is a good place to grab a top speedster.

Already been burned by Brodie Croyle.
I would put AJ a few rungs above Brokie Croyle.

I'm pretty sure the Gumps will claim him as their own Peyton Manning since he was Heisman runner-up.
Only if he wins a Super Bowl

AJ should have won it, FWIW.
Idk. The NCs should mean something but there was another QB who recently had an awesome college career and the main reason he didn't win was "it's an individual season award".
I think AJ is an awesome dude but he didn't carry teams like other players did.
