that to Ohio State.

And Oregon.
You are not wrong. Oregon should be lower, as should Tech.
OSU and Indiana are undefeated, should one get blown out this weekend, they should plummet. Close loss will keep them in top 4.

If that happens and the loser drops, more fuel to the fire to do away with CCGs. Nothing to gain and everything to lose.
Besides that, CCGs kinda lost their luster, for me anyway, when the conferences did away with divisions.

All that really matters is getting in! Then it's in your hands completely! You gotta get into a Champion mentality lil brother! Shake the battered wife syndrome! Stop losing to Bevo! Geaux Tigers!

7 was very predictable coming out of the weekend.
If you're kicking dirt over it then I question your knowledge of how rankings work. And it's certainly not bullshite.

Let's ignore decades of precedent where the more recent the loss, the more they hold it against you.

Such bullshite.
Lots of people "close to the process" were saying A&M was 5 or 6, which I believed, despite thinking A&M should be the highest ranked one loss team (again, see the graph in the OP; the data is right there.)

I'm fine with that, all things being equal. But all things aren't equal. Tech lost to Arizona State, and their best win is BYU. They have a worse SOS, a less impressive best win, and their loss is worse. It makes no sense at all for them to be 4. It just doesn't.

Who has had the most cakewalk schedules, overall….
Isn’t that what SOS and SOR tells us?

You can throw whatever graph you want at it but everyone i've talked to (irl and internet, ags and non-ags) had us pegged for 6 or 7.
Ags thinking we'd be 5th or better have the maroon tinted glasses on.

You really don't sound fine with that. And you conveniently leave out a few things on your comparison.
TT lost a month and a half ago by 4 with their starting QB on the sidelines.
Maybe if aggie had only lost by 4 with Reed sitting out the entire game, you would have a legit comparison but that is not what happened. Aggie lost by 2 scores with their starting QB playing the entire game.
And other than their loss to ASU, the closes anyone has come to TT is 22 points vs #7 BYU. Aggie on the other hand has had some close calls with some really bad teams.
So you are right, things are not "equal" but you miss all the parts of the equation that favor TT
