That will be the greatest moment in Aggie history in the SEC, as reality hits. Enjoy it!

Sorry it took us a little while to get to the SEC Party but we do have the all time highest winning percentage in SEC Games so far. Also:

Conference Championships:

Bama 23
A&M 18
Tennessee 16
Georgia 14
LSU 14

A&M also has 150 Conference Titles in all sports. We play more than football.

It is our FIRST year in the SEC... should we just bow down to all overlords, and be the roadkill you expected? I think the Basketball team did so...

A&M had a good year, and one of our best in the past ten years. The schedule is favorable for another good year, and I'm sorry our schedule is favorable. It certainly wasn't last year... A&M fans should be proud of 12 consecutive weeks without a bye against a HARD schedule, and that record.

It is a swear word around here to think you could actually beat a team such as LSU or Alabama. That isn't allowed, because we have only been here one year - that is the attitude I see here on the rant.

I don't think Sumlin cares, and hence football will continue to do very well. Basketball has been a failure, but that is a function of the coach - the B12 was better at that. Baseball still has an incomplete.

BTW, LSU fans - I am confident about beating LSU next year for many reasons, but first and foremost you might want to check Sumlin's road record not only last year, but during his time with Houston.

We have yet to lose on the road - all losses came at home.

UCF & Northern Illinois beat Bama a few years ago. You guys caught lightning in a bottle with JFF. This is the SEC. We shall see how it plays out, probably not what Aggie fans expect.

This upcoming year looks like another good one if for no other reason than schedule... We will see after that, but there is no denying the 2014 team will be more talented on BOTH sides of the ball.

I definitely agree that they still have a lot to prove. Having said that I think they have the second most to prove just behind Missouri. Having said that I think Georgia, Mississippi State and Auburn have the next most to prove in that order.

To summarize:
1. Missouri
2. Texas A&M
3. Georgia
4. Mississippi State
5. Auburn

usmc - clearly you don't understand. The fact that we had the same conference record, a better overall record, and were ranked significantly higher than them doesn't matter. LSU won their super bowl. Clearly that game is all that matters to them as they consistently harp on it as the end-all be-all and pretend the other 11 games didn't happen.

Again, what is a Texas fan doing on an SEC board? You already proved that you are to scared to play anyone that you cannot lord it over.

I'm not solely a Texas fan. I'm also a fan of some other teams. In order I would say I am a Alabama, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Texas, Clemson fan.

I could change my symbol to an LSU one if I wanted... I think I'll change it to Oregon to screw with everyone. Is the poster a Texas fan, or a Bama one?

Most SEC fans don't have symbols on non-SEC teams.

Fair enough. You post like a Texas fan - such as putting Texas at #12 in your preseason list. Makes sense though, since you had Clemson ranked even higher.

Thanks for the clarification
