It wasn't just the winning, it was that we did so in our first year in a conference everyone said would crush us. It was the first freshman ever winning the Heisman. It was our coach establishing himself in this conference and showing serious chops in recruiting.
It was a perfect storm to bring us out of the hole we've been in for so long.

Especially scary when they gotta take credit for another team beating Bama after choking in their own stadium.
LSU fans know deep down that they're lucky they didn't have to play USC either of those years they won titles. They need another to legitimize themselves after Bama's recent run, and it's just not going to happen.

First of all, this is completely false when it comes to the NFL. Nearly half the Superbowl winners over the past 15 years ranked outside the top half in rushing offense.
Second, trends clearly show that within ten years the average offense in CFB will be running the ball less than 40% of the time.

Well said but there is only one flaw in that logic. If you can sustain last years success this year then I will stand corrected but until then I just don't believe a leopard will lose his spots in one season, but I am old fashioned

You think I don't like the aggies when I'm indifferent to them. I like your coach a lot. I have nothing against A&M. Except that their fans should chill with the legendary team stuff. You could very well win the SEC and I wouldn't care. They haven't been in the SEC long enough for me to not like them. I even like some A&m posters in here. Not the ones that go straight to " anal rape( going in dry)" when trying to talk shite with other fanbases, but I chalk that up to the plethora of glory holes on campus and male cheerleaders and dont hold it against all A&M posters.
