So what’s your point?

One of many reasons why we now have Schloss.

So now Texas State can kick YOUR butt.

You asked.

We can compare when ya'll play on April Fools. Then two weeks later the dreaded game against UTRGV.

Texas State always has a salty team. They are 6-2 and beat top 10 Oklahoma State last week.

Their SS Chase Mora is a big MLB prospect. Far from a horrible team.

I'll admit, when I saw Texas St on your schedule I thought, "hmm, that may not go well..."

But still it's good for keyboard trolling and flexing.

Baseball is looking shaky so far. Starting pitching looks solid, but bullpen is a clusterfrick so far. Hitting has been weaker than last year to start as well, which is a little surprising given Earley was the hitting coach.

Losing Grahovac for the year gonna be a big loss.

True that...I'll chirp you a little Vern, not here to spit vitriol like so many others on here. People really get triggered over things posted in this forum.

Then we stole your coaching staff and now you've lost back to back games to Texas State and Cal Poly.

Sure seems like you're trending in the right direction!

Why is "stole" the word of choice in this matter.

Had it been any other team, Texas would have "hired" their coach. But because it was Aggie, Texas "stole" their coach.

Other than flexing, I refused to play along with this. We hired Schloss, we didn't jack him at gunpoint. He wanted the job.

That is objectively false.

Huh? Did Aggie "steal" Elko? No, they "hired" him.

Most Texas fans would use the same word choice had it been OU, A&M, Arkansas or even Tech. I repeat, you are objectively wrong.

This two game losing streak would not have happened under Schloss!

Then so are you because you just made my point by enumerating specific schools in which the term "stole" would be applicable (in your world). My point is why do we say "stole" sometimes and "hired" other times?

You're trying to say when it's a rival, then the coach is "stolen". When it's a non-rival, then the coach is "hired".... which may be conventional water-cooler wisdom but it's still logically stupid.

No you implied it only fits due to one specific school. I listed 4 that it works for. You’re even objectively wrong about that too.

No it’s using different words depending on the intended recipient. Had Texas taken Nate Oats from Alabama (non rival) and I was making a jab, I would use the word “stolen” there as well.

You should know this better than anyone (given the time you spend on here), but this is a message board. Nobody really cares what you think is “logically stupid”.
