It sucks that he's relatively obscure but that homosexual Kenny Chesney is selling out arenas.

I think REK has found a sweet spot for himself. I think if he really wanted to he could do the Nashville bit, but it's not really his style. He still sells out venues all across Texas when he plays. And it's nice to be able to see him at small-medium sized venues too. One of my favorite REK concerts was actually in Hollywood. Showed up about 45 minutes before he went on and walked right up to the stage. Rested my beer at the base of his mic stand. That doesn't happen in Texas, but it was awesome to look back and see the A&M shirts and hats come out to support him out there in California too.

If you'd stop showing your arse you wouldn't be at risk so much.

Like I said, I understand why they get picked on. They are Aggies though, and a good amount of them have fought, served, and died fighting for us. Just keep that in mind sometimes boys.

One of you posted a few days ago that roughly 15% of the corp goes on to be active military. We're told in this thread there are only 2% of the student body IN the corp.

So, 2% of 50,000 = 1000 students in the corp. So 150 go on to serve. That's 0.3% of the total student population.
Also heard 4%, so that'd be 2000 students. So 300 would serve. That's 0.6% of the total student population.

In the United States, we have a total of 2,936,396 soldiers in active/reserve duty. Our population is 312,330,874. That's roughly 0.94% of our population that serves in the military.

Something tells me that's not all that much higher than the average, per capita, for any state school.

Man, the SEC was so badassa week ago. We were the group everyone wanted to join and be apart of. They all wanted to be like us. If they didn't, then they just hated us the most for being so bad arse.

Of all the schools we could have added. We add the Aggies first. Which, little did we know, happens to be the biggest/weirdest/gayest/nerdiest damn school we could have ever added.

We're never gonna be the same again...

Surely, that was not an Aggie that posted that. I believe it was LarrySellers or someone else who constantly bashes the Ags. It is currently 40-50%.

Every institution has its "special people." We Aggies simply choose to put ours in uniform....so everyone already knows who they are, and their behavior can be understood/ignored/dismissed.

Thank you for understanding.
