I think TR is getting this shite from his coaches
I think so too, it was pretty telling when TR had to stop himself from giving credit to LSU's defense. It's like there was a coach over the reporter's shoulder waving his hands saying 'Nooo!' so TR was like 'er, I mean, uh, well we still coulda scored.'
6 fricking points total, plus overtime is not Bama beating themselves.

What the frick, is there a single player on Bama's team that will just admit that LSU's defense is pretty good?
Nope

I don't hold those comments against TR.
But I will be gigglin' my swamprat arse off Monday night watching him get outgained by our True Freshman Kenny Hilliard....

Damn, so the one game where Bama gets penalties just happens to be the biggest game of the year, in their house. Bad luck I guess.

I know right? How dare they have confidence going into the game and not just say "frick it, they're too good. We can't score."

He should just say that Bama sucks and that there is no way Bama could hope to beat a far superior LSU team.

Sounds like a winner's attitude to me.
bunch of morons up in here.
I guess y'all don't listen to the majority of NFL coaches and players before games, as well as many CFB coaches and players. Most people have some tact and can show humility. Not at Bama, I guess.

Those quotes are not surprising, if you listen to what Saban preaches. Alabama does a fantastic job of brain-washing athletes into the minds of their coaches. Stallings did the same thing in 1992. After you'd talk to the coaches after the games, the players would come out and say the exact same things. Well, they didn't use words like "quintessential" like Homer did, but they basically meant the same thing.
Saban believes that nothing can stop what he does but the failure to execute. That's what they're saying, so it's not surprising and it's actually not a knock on LSU or anybody else - but themselves. So he was actually putting the Tide down!

I'm not even sure what that means, but the quotes you took out of context, AJ specifically mentioned penalties. You just twisted things around.
As I said, no one that is a fan or player of UA questions that the LSU defense is legit.

And you wonder why LSU fans feel the way they do.

They also interviewed McCarron and he said pretty much the same thing. The offense underperformed because of things Bama did, it wasn't anything LSU did.
What the frick, is there a single player on Bama's team that will just admit that LSU's defense is pretty good?
This is a reflection of what the coaches are saying, what the Bama media has said, and what the fans have said. It is the Bama culture.
It is impossible for those people to give credit to anyone. Saban has been this way for years. He has gotten better at doing it publicly, but he always said that if anything went wrong, it was because the players didn't follow the plan. There was never anything wrong with the plan - the players just didn't do it. Like I said, he's mellowed on that some, but Richardson, McCarron, Barrett Jones, etc., are reflecting the same mindset.
Give no credit to anyone and just blame yourself because you can fix what went wrong.
Alabama is going to play tight and will be thinking about not making mistakes. LSU is going to play fast and loose with extreme speed and ferocity. LSU is going to overwhelm Alabama at the point of attack all night long while Alabama tries to do everything right that they think they screwed up on November 5th.

What? Someone not giving LSU credit for having a good defense? Link?

You realize how pathetic that program is right now correct?
This should be good.
I really like this guy....on fricking fire atm.

Just changed who I'm rooting for after seeing TR on ESPN. He was talking about the Bama offense in the first game:

LOL seriously, you took the time to post this?
I'm really upset you're not pulling for BAMA now.

I swear to god..every time a Bama player does or says anything...you people are so eager to throw it up on a board and hope you have a successful thread....sad sad sad

They could be a little tactful at least. "LSU has a great defense that did well in the first meeting. We've made some adjustments and are confident in our gameplan, and we feel like we have a good chance to have success against them this time"
Was that so hard?
That would require class, something nobody associated with that program has.

None of us have class. That's a fact. I know I'm especially classless!!!
