He isn't going to Alabama. We all know their next HC will fall flat on his face at best.

These are hopes and dreams, AT BEST.

Bama will continue winning championships, just like they have for the last 120 years.

I'm sure they will, maybe one a decade or so.

That chick is too young to remember all the shite coaching hires between Bear and Saban.

The anger is delicious

Nonetheless, you're a barnrat. It's what you guys do. Latch on to some bullshite luck and pass it off as "normal". "Yes we were supposed to win that game in which we completed a 75 yard hail mary to win". The rest of us laugh at you quietly.

A few years go by, your coach and program can't muster up any more miracles, and you become what you always were, a mediocre program. Little brother.

Alabama offers Kirby nothing more than he currently has

I don't know how anyone can say this with a straight face. There's always been more at Alabama than there is georgia, even if it's not tangible.

Anyway, no one in Tuscaloosa wants Kirby. He can stay at B Tier Georgia until he retires a B tier coach for all we care.

We had a 20 point lead in that game going into the 4th quarter. Not to mention Murray never crossed the plane and it wasn't overturned because Jake Holland was actually made a tackle and blocked the review angle. You can't be for real

Nobody is THAT ignorant. Nice work, troll. You got me thinking you were retarded or just plain dumb.

Not really, its very good.

LSU won 2 in the 2000's and one in the 2010's and I'm pretty happy with that

At this point what we know is Kirby is a great recruiter and just a good football coach. If the U of A doesn't call Dabo 1st then they're headed for another Bill Curry over Bobby Bowden result.

Kirby will eventually win a NC at DawgVille.....Aight

Wait, I was wrong. It is tangible. Look in the trophy case. You can laugh all you want, but there's no justification comparing Alabama to UGA. It's about as equal as comparing Alabama to LSU. NO COMPARISON AT ALL.

Your trophy case just basically says you were a blueblood and thus were able to take advantage of those perks pre modern era and were lucky enough to have a GOAT coach in Saban in the modern era when being a blueblood doesn't matter nearly as much.

They won five divisional titles, three conference titles, and one national championship.

During that same stretch, I think only Tennessee (Fulmer) and LSU (Saban) matched the one national championship, and Florida (Spurrier/Meyer) won two.

There are seven schools in the SEC that don't have that many conference titles in their entire history.

So yeah, certainly some shitty stretches by current standards, but not a total disaster.

Stalling wasn't bad. By AU or LSUs standards, he would be all time great. Also, even Curry and Mike Dubose won or tied for an SEC championship which would be dream seasons for Ole Miss, Arkansas or MSU. Mike Dubose had a team that beat Spurrier's Gators twice in one season. Even Mike Shula under heavy NCAA sanctions had a 10 win season.
Yep, Bama was truly rock bottom between Bryant and Saban

I might quibble on whether or not Kirby is mediocre but there is no doubt that failing to lure Dabo back to Mama will be a huge disappointment for the Bammers even if they refuse to admit it.

Dabo would be just another Kirby if he was in the SEC.
