Exactly, man. Ags and OU folks don’t get it. Fans don’t care. Hell, it’s our brand on TV. The bowl game between Michigan and Washington had players on both sides doing the horns down before the game. How brilliant is that? No other team has their branding on national TV like that. Not sure why we get in people’s heads that way but it’s not hurting us even a little. What would hurt us is apathy and people just not caring/rembering/thinking about us in any way. That’s what ATM and OU fans don’t realize. And the more they fight to do it, like clapping for tinkerbell, the more it just breaths life back into our brand.

You think the average fan cares much at all? I’m serious, even at the tailgates and etc I just don’t see fans care. The university may sue to protect its brand—Texas is traditionally very fierce about that—but that’s not the fans man.

Hell, come by my seats during a game, I’ll buy us a few beers, and you can “horns down” all game long and no one around will say anything at all. It’ll just make you feel real big, like people do when they throw a middle finger when driving or something.

I just loved that you guys were singing at the national championship game about ‘Sawing the horns off”. We didn’t earn our way to that game on the field, but y’all sure brought us in your pocket and put us on display in the middle of your parades and celebrations. We were all laughing watching it on TV.
