Bama's offense.

specifically the O-line.

The fact that Bama punted 9 times surprised me.

That is the most times in a game since Saban has been at Bama.

I watched all SEC games...

LSU looked like the best team.

My team can't be judged with all the suspensions and 16+ freshman and 11 on D.

Ole Miss looked kinda small, but improved.

State.. WTF. Really?

Bama was rough, and I question their ability to get past a&m and LSU this year. I just don't see them winning the west.

Georgia shot themselves in the foot. I chalk it up to first game mistakes and injuries.

Scar... Good O, but I am not sold on this team winning the East yet. Georgia will get better... I promise.

Vandy is still scrappy.

Arky player getting DL player of the week

Now that I think about...Not that surprised. Flowers could be the best player we ever got out of the state of Alabama

yup. Surprised the punter did not suffer an injury from punting so much.

It's been a while since I've seen the O-line not control the LOS. They were (for the most part) man handled by the VT defense.

State's complete and utter ineptitude

This. For the first few minutes of the game, I thought State could pull it out. The announcers even made comments about how State's OL was pushing OSU around and how State seemed to be able to run the ball at will. Then, quarters 2-4 happened.

The Bama OL wasn't huge surprise 4 new starters basically.

The biggest surprise negatively for me was Miss State not even putting up a fight after oSu scored, it was like they knew already.

Honestly, I had no idea Alabama was that fast on defense this year.

They weren't fast enough to keep that VT back from sprinting 78 yards for a TD.

Mississippi State. I think they'll pull it together. I'd rather them do good than Ole Miss, Auburn, or Bama. Never really hated Miss St.

How comfortable and confident Brandon Allen looked. Complete opposite of how he looked last year.

That we didn't suck and after last season simply not sucking was glorious.

LSU's decline even more rapid than expected by barely scraping by against purple baylor.

Also this was fricking crazy. 5 of exactly 75 yards and no more. A stats major needs to find those odds.
